Comment:

 ioerror points out that writing a .bat file for Windows and a .sh file for
 Mac and Linux is also an option.. However, that script should probably
 also download gpg and hashdeep on Windows, and gpg on Mac.. Or at least
 tell the user it can't find them and where they can be obtained...
