Just did a force-push to remove a bit of an overengineered workaround -
got rid of the "usesnewobject" flag.
Have not run into the UAC issues since I'm on XP, so managed to get
everything working, and successfully connected to Tor!
One thing is that this workaround only works if you kill obfs-flash-
client.exe or if tor.exe shuts down cleanly (to be able to kill obfs-
flash-client.exe). If you kill tor.exe or if it crashes, obfs-flash-
client.exe sticks around. We can solve that, e.g. by implementing
[ticket:10047] but it's a fair bit of extra work.
I will look at the UAC issues today, but I'm on XP so will have a hard
time reproducing it. I'll try to find a Vista/7 machine, though.
