 mcs, brade: could you take a look? I'd like to have these fixes in the
 alpha, too, in order to not have to have a separate tor-browser hardened
 branch.

 The freetype related backport is actually not ASan related but helped me
 to create a build on my Linux machine and is thus useful for users trying
 to build a "normal" Tor Browser on Linux machines.
