Comment:
I have a checklist! Obviously it is no match for my scattered brain.
Here's an idea I have that I think can be quickly implemented and would
work better:
Create official build targets for binary & package building. Make them
depend on a new target that calls a script which has two requirements that
must be satisfied: 1) that the git repo has no local changes; and 2) that
the local git repo is also synced with the remote one. If it fails on
either point, refuse to build things.
Is it overcomplicated?
