 I recommend the following about:config values to this ticket:
 network.http.sendRefererHeader = 1
 network.http.referer.spoofSource = 1

 The first one specifies to send the referrer only when clicking on a link,
 while the second specifies to spoof the target url.
 I haven't found any website which would break these settings.

 However please note that referrer tracking is also done via Javascript,
 HTTP 302 Redirects, Meta Refresh redirects or simply adding values to the
 end of the target urls (like "?utm_source=....").
