Great! With the new Tor sources, Tor compiles fine (without changing
event.h before installing libevent). :)

However, compiling libevent including the samples still fails on my
machine (same error as in my first post). So, I again had to remove all
references to "sample" from the makefile.

Maybe the libevent samples could be "fixed" in the next libevent
release, too? Otherwise, it might be a workaround to have an additional
target in the makefile to compile without samples and a remark in
tor-win32-mingw-creation.txt to use that target? Or describe that
samples and references to them must be removed manually before compiling?

Thanks!
