Hi Nick,
| ==============================
| June 30: PROPOSAL CUTOFF.
|
| All feature proposals for consideration should be in and discussed
| before this date. In the meantime, we should already be implementing
| accepted proposals. Note also the "and discussed": complex proposals
| received on June 29 are unlikely to be adequately discussed by June
| 30.
Here is my personal wish list for 0.2.1.x:
- - Proposal 135 (Simplify Configuration of Private Tor Networks): I'd say
that this one is not a big issue any more. There might still be minor
changes to the implementation, but I can correct them in time.
- - Follow-up proposal to 114 (Distributed Storage for Tor Hidden Service
Descriptors): While writing down the ideas behind proposal 114 for a
paper, I found a few improvements that probably should be incorporated.
Most of these are minor changes, but one of them is a new feature to
exclude bad v2 hidden service directories. If you agree I would write
them down as a new proposal within the next week or so. (We could also
re-open proposal 114, if you'd prefer.)
- - Proposal 121 (Hidden Service Authentication): Even though the current
proposal is already implemented in a branch, the specification might
need some discussion. The last big specification change occurred on
April 28. Domenik's GSoC project is about extending Vidalia to make use
of this new feature, so I thought it might be useful to have this in Tor
0.2.1.x.
