Unpacking tor (from .../tor_0.2.4.19-1~d70.wheezy+1_armhf.deb) ...
You can exclude the 'x86 binary instead of ARM' portion at least.
Try doing a '/etc/init.d/tor start' and see what the result of that is.
Definitely check /var/log/tor for any log output too; and otherwise
start tor manually with the same parameters that the init script uses.
