I do follow closely the latest hardened Gentoo linux kernel, therefore I do reboot every 1-2 weeks (when is KPatch/K>Graft alive ???).
For that I shutdown Tor "gracefully" (--signal INT -R 60). I wa in the mood, that this would mean, that Tor closes their connections gracefully, so a new relay will "replace" my current tor relays connections :-/
