Looking at the archives of this list on seul.org, it says:

anonymity theory, including design and analysis not intended to affect

mailing lists. For background on Onion Routing and related work
consult the old site and our anonymity bibliography.
It would seem to me that this is a more general discussion about
anonymity theory (and more general, the Internet as an authentic
medium).
