They are neither interested in helping out Tor Browser by getting its
patched [5] merged.

And this is causing lots of trouble and additional work for many people.

Patches can break when new versions of Firefox are released, which takes
up time from TBB devs. Updating TBB is less safe for users, since its
not an automated verified process and very few people use OpenPGP
verification.

TBB can't become a Debian package. Debian's answer is "get patches
merged upstream" and Mozilla isn't interested to get patches in fast.
These policies clash. So just updating TBB in Debian/Linux requires even
more overhead, a separate updater. [1]

Maybe meeting them at a conference.

And when Tor staff reports bugs / patches at
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ and get replies, communication should have
top priority. Answers within a week. Not letting too much time pass.

Anyhow, I don't think they can be convinced anyway.

"Almost 90% of the total income of Mozilla Foundation comes from
Google." [6]

Google is interested in user tracking to get money from tracking. If
Firefox becomes a privacy by default (no more browser
tracking/fingerprinting) it gets next to impossible to track users for
advertising. And if Firefox becomes an anonymous mode, google can't
track anyone and make no more money with user tracking. Mozilla isn't
going to get ride of its primary sponsor by destroying their business model.
