I've seen easily over 1500 onions and would agree that there's
really not much difference in onions than what exists on clearnet.
The real difference is in style and tech implemented based on new
freed ideas, and content/talk based on free association. People
would notice this if they spent some quality time observing instead
of being alarmists for themselves. And that there's no known record
to date of any having been shut down due to Tor/I2P weaknesses.
We need to focus more on that basic anonymity/Tor research and
post news/shutdown analysis than what does or does not appear as
content on whatever network.
