[tor-talk] 'Clock jump'

 tor client 0.3.5.8 on Darwin
Oct 13 23:50:51.000 [notice] Your system clock just jumped 300 seconds forward; assuming established circuits no longer work.
Oct 13 23:55:51.000 [notice] Your system clock just jumped 300 seconds forward; assuming established circuits no longer work.
Oct 14 00:00:51.000 [notice] Your system clock just jumped 300 seconds forward; assuming established circuits no longer work.
Oct 14 00:05:51.000 [notice] Your system clock just jumped 300 seconds forward; assuming established circuits no longer work.
Oct 14 00:10:51.000 [notice] Your system clock just jumped 300 seconds forward; assuming established circuits no longer work.
Oct 14 00:15:51.000 [notice] Your system clock just jumped 300 seconds forward; assuming established circuits no longer work.
Oct 14 00:20:51.000 [notice] Your system clock just jumped 300 seconds forward; assuming established circuits no longer work.

The last is not a five-minute interval because I tried to use the client: it was out of use for all the previous occasions.
Clearly my clock is not really jumping - it's displaying fine in the OS clock and via command line.
The messages stopped thereafter - for the time being.
Any ideas?
