Well, I know that you need a 40kb patch for IRC+GGZ to use an IRC channel as a metaserver. (We can use the "Away reason" element of IRC for host signatures. Before the protocols are implemented, please consider adding the Freenode web client into the website - with web IRC, anyone can start a non-tracking server by making a channel on Freenode.
