Yes, one of the most interesting things in Freenet is deciding how to draw
the anonymity lines..  while we don't intend that nodes should be fully
private entities, we certainly wish to make it as difficult as possible for
a node to discover more nodes than is necessary for the functioning of the
network.

Ultimately I have to fault TCP/IP itself.. the act of communicating
on the internet *must* betray anonymity at some link in the process.

Btw, don't suppose you guys have ever thought of building a mix-net on
top of Freenet?  ;^>
