Re: gEDA-user: Is the OrCAD Library Active?

Ok...well, I'm still interested in improving gEDA to the point where OrCAD conversions are not a problem.  I've already downloaded the source code for olib and other useful utilities and will see if perhaps I can figure out a way to improve that code base.  It may be necessary to buy a legal copy of OrCAD and to intentionally create files with simple known content in order to decipher the principles upon which the OrCAD library files are based.  Whatever it takes, I'm willing to work on this problem until it is solved.

Sincerely,

Arthur

Therein lies the problem.  The last time I looked at this, Orcad 10.5
(which is what I use at my day job) used binary files for the
schematics, which is what prompted me to look at exporting and
importing EDIF files.
