You could increase the size of the png from the export dialog box
(bottom left corner), allowing greater detail in the file.

If you then want a smaller size png, use gimp to scale it down, probably
picking the "Sinc (Lancoz3)" scaling function. That seems to preserve
thin lines quite well IIRC.
