Lost two parts already just due to "sproing". Damn they're jumpy.
Touch it the wrong way, and you've got a microscopic game of tiddly
winks (think "catapult") and there's no way to find parts that small
when you have no idea where in the room they are.

Has anyone successfully used the ~geda sot-323 and sot-523 footprints?
They have pads under the pins, but there's no slack like with the
dil-style footprints, and the silk is really close to the pads. I'm
going to try making some with a bit more pad area to play with, more
suitable for hand soldering.

I've used the SOT23 but not the others. Be sure to check both mechanical sizes _and_ pinout. A few companies like CEL have had a habit of using their own pinout as opposed to following JEDEC.
