gEDA-user: gaf compile error

Hi,

I compiled gag the other week, but now I get this.  Is this a dependency 
problem?  Something new?



error output of make install:

ranlib .libs/libgeda.a
creating libgeda.la
/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libXrender.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libXrender.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make[2]: *** [libgeda.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/moredata/src-geda-latest-cvs/geda/gaf/libgeda/src'
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/moredata/src-geda-latest-cvs/geda/gaf/libgeda'
make: *** [libgeda_install] Error 2

I have
ll /usr/lib/libXrender.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 38948 2006-08-30 19:24 /usr/lib/libXrender.a

but not the same name as gaf's make install wants....
