Re: gEDA-user: libgeda compile error problem solved, sort of...



I found that new versions of xorg in for instance debian unstable have
no file /usr/lib/libXrender.la, and that is going to be the norm, where configure scripts stop looking for it, and libtool works without having it.


As a stopgap measure, I found a recent version of libXrender.la and put it where libgeda's makefile and configure looks for it, in /usr/lib/libXrender.la

Just to check that is OK, does your file look like this one below?
