Ohh... and speaking of Mandrake.  Will Indy use automount ?
That is easily the most newby friendly kernel patch floating
around.  

Also the GUI installer and disk partitioned are great except 
when they can't find the mouse.  ( several ell chepo mice give 
trouble )
