that's why i didn't offer a patch  ;)
[it would take a much more active layer to use the API's invocation
style (callbacks and stateful handles) hence the difficulties of using
unix socke idioms in a win32 environment. my $0.02 at least...]


How focused is the Tor code on libevent?  is it only
used for sockets?


that i don't know.  in either case this would be useful.
