FW: Problems with TOR 0.1.1.17rc

I still have a problem with the below - how do I resolve it?

Im the only fast UK exit node so it would be good to get it working
again...

Nb - I found that SORBS have blacklisted my server address because I
allowed IRC (potentially botnet) exit traffic. How putting me on an
email blackhole list helps avoid IRC abuse they were not able to
explain... Seems that they are trying to inconvenience server owners for
things not directly related to SPAM.

Regards,

Tony.

OK - finally got it working - it seems to read / write its config info
to the default user profile when running as a service. That's a bug that
really should be fixed. Default user is the template for new user
accounts. Tor should use %userprofile% to find the correct profile
location for the current user.

The uninstall / reinstall seems to have wiped my keys.

How do I resolve that?

I just upgraded to the rc version, and it now fails to start from torCP
or from the service. I tried removing service, restarting and then
adding again, but I still get an error:

C:\Program Files\Tor>tor -install
Service installed successfully
Service failed to start : An exception occurred in the service when
handling the control request.

Even with a default config file it fails.

However running TOR directly from the executable works.
