I know one shareware game written in Pygame. Its name is Action Czech
and the goal is to teach children Czech grammar by games. The game is
really polished.

There was basegolf too, but it appears that its home is gone. The domain squatter sitting there also has a robots.txt that makes sure that the site gets cleared out of archive.org and everywhere else...
