From: SchoolForge's mission is to unify independent organizations that
advocate, use, and develop open resources for primary and secondary
education.
To: SchoolForge's mission is to unify independent organizations that
advocate, use, and develop open resources for education.
The reasoning is that many of the projects overlap
primary/secondary/post secondary in relation to those who are doing the
development and how & where the projects are utilized. Also, there have
been some mentions regarding performance & expectations gaps between
secondary and post secondary education, at least here in the United
States - this doesn't answer that, but might be a good perspective
moving forward.
Another reason is to share a perspective / mission that wouldn't cause
someone to feel that their FLOSS education project, or interest in
volunteering is outside of the scope of SchoolForge.
