RE: [school-discuss] Educational software

One piece of software that I use is not yet listed. It is called WeBWorK.
It is a web-based homework system designed by the University of Rochester
math department. It is used mainly at the university level, but I have been
very successful implementing it at my school (Detroit Country Day School)
for math and physics. We are looking to expand over the summer into
chemistry and speech classes.

The WeBWorK homepage can be found at http://webwork.math.rochester.edu

Funny you should ask :-) The SEUL/edu Educational Applications Index
<http://richtech.ca/seul/> is one of my primary responsibilities. And
of course, since I'm responsible for it I can unbiasedly say that it's
completely comprehensive, frighteningly useful, and the ultimate
listing of all things educational for Linux.

Well, we try to list as many educational applications for Linux as we
can find, anyway.
