Yes, redhat has rpms for it on all the kde mirrors. I believe you will 
have to dump kde2 if you use rpms. I currently am running KDE 2.2 and KDE 
3.0 because i have to port a lot of my code to Qt 3.0, now the problem 
with upgrading KDE is you might have to recompile or get new rpms, of some 
of your favorite kde applications. Because of the switch to Qt 3.0, I 
think no matter what switching major revision numbers on software is a 
headache. I would love to say go out and get it but unless you want to 
compile from source I dont know if its worth it or just to wait untill it 
comes rolled in <Your Favorite Distro> installer.
