Agreed, and that goes for Ximian as well.

It is probably Novell's only chance to survive, so hopefully current 
management wont botch it and bring SUSE and Ximian down with the ship. 
It is still unclear to me whether they really "get" free and open source 
software, but the are giving it a try.

Maybe Novell will end up with great support offerings for SUSE and 
Ximian and be able to survive.  The markets seem to agree with the 
purchase with a 20% rise in NOVL stock today.
