[school-discuss] Programming in the Curriculum

The info between the dashed lines was originally posted to
the siggraph cgeducators list. If any of you can help, use
the contact info down at the bottom.

----------------------------------------------------------
I am working with a HS teacher, located in Texas, on an
idea for a workshop that would be appropriate for high
school teachers in any other content area (CS, Art, Math,
etc.) wanting to learn ways to introduce programming into
their curriculum.

She is a user of MITs Processing and Arduino hardware in
her curriculum and has had good experiences with both.

This would take place on the weekend prior to the annual
SIGGRAPH Conference, which will be in Anaheim this coming July.

We are looking for individuals, who may be located in the
Anaheim area and/or are SIGGRAPH attendees who may be
interested in participating as presenters in this workshop.

This idea is in a very formative stage and any ideas or
suggestions from individuals on this list would be welcome.
