I have actually already extended this offer to Vladimir.  I would be
happy to host any HOWTOs until such time as the LDP is back in shape to
accept them.  Currently I have no formal structure in place for this,
so it will have to simply be a matter of people sending them in to me.  

What was the normal operating procedure for doing this at the LDP?
What sort of tools/structures were/are in place?
