 I was talking to John from UMN last week. He's been using a modified
 version of the n23-2 branch, after fixing some problems that prevented his
 torrent clients from working properly. IIRC, n23 only worked when
 downloading data (not uploading). He mentioned that the n23-3 was broken.

 I'm currently trying to extract some code from him that actually works.
 Longer term, I think a re-design is in order.
