If you can get a fresh IP address and run a bridge that would be awesome, if not simply keep it as a middle relay. I challenge you to keep it as an exit, exits are more helpful and more fun to run. Just fight with abuse complaints, it's not that hard and it'll make you feel better :) try keeping it as an exit.
