No, you shouldn't. Linux keeps time internally as seconds past 1970-01-01
so no problem is expected with 32 bit time type until 2038 and long
before then we will have moved to 64 bit time type. The only problem
is with clock hardware that stores only 2 year digits and the clock
utilities know how to deal with that.
