This is already being done without any support by various people around the
globe.  Is the object to support these developers whom have no support.  Or
is it to gain control, and to grow big.

I am currently joint project leader with Mario Alves on a project that spans
3 continents or more.  Professor Robert Dewar acts as wise man for our
group, and Professor Dewar's group fully supports our group informally
without contract or payment.  Professor Dewar will personally look after
licencing details (Gnu most probably) because he is expert in this area and
I am not.

We will produce a number of compilers.  Our end aim is a new generation
cutting edge compiler and language.  It will be SNOBOL5.    It will be a
full language and compiler in both the high and low levels, and aptly
suitable for its own development and libraries.  It will be its own
independent environment, and will eventually be able to produce code for
slower more primative machines such as .NET and JVM, as well as its own
independant machine.  To start with, we will write the project in Gnat Ada95
with view of all source being written in SNOBOL5 for its new generation
release.

I am on a full disability support pension, and have no other financial means
or source for equipment or floor space or internet service.  There has been
no Australian help at all, either businesss, academic, or charitable.  No
other Australian works on the project either.  But this just make it more
difficult, it does not cease it.
