Wiki admin woes

Does anybody around here have some deeper knowledge of phpWiki?

For some time now there has been a very persistent spammer posting rubbish
in the wiki. Up to now he mostly posted new pages which could be removed
easily enough even though it was annoying, but now he's starting to deface
existing ones (e.g.
http://crimson.seul.org/wiki/index.php/The%20Province%20of%20Yalwa
).

I've looked through the phpWiki docs but I haven't found ways to

a) remove only a single version of a page
b) disallow posting of pages with specific names
c) ban certain IP addresses or address ranges from posting entirely

What makes things even worse is that the authentication system of
phpWiki seems to be extremely crappy (beware, euphemism!).

Is anything of the above possible? Help would be greatly appreciated.
