I don't know whether I am "the typical player" or not, but here are my
thoughts:
- the difficulty seems to be okay, I played without handicap and won but had
some losses. Perhaps you could remove the crystals from the northeast
granary (normaly the first one to conquer) to make the map a bit harder.
Haven't tried playing with handicap yet...
- I like the map design, but I think the map center (where the three rivers
"meet") is too easy to defend for player 1. Normaly the six units retreat to
this point and crush the enemy units crossing the rivers. That's kind of
boring. The only thrilling place is the northeast depot.
