Re: Solo vs. multiplayer, campaigns, and difficulty

Hi,

just wanted to let you know that CVS now has most parts of the
new campaign system in place. You can play single-map matches
against the AI as FNA or Kand, campaigns are player 1 only.

Map passwords have been removed in favour of internally
keeping track of unlocked maps. Difficulty levels are still
missing (I still don't know how to label them, any proposals?).

I also 'un-campaigned' the current Nexus campaign, as it
doesn't have very strong cohesion and was designed for two
players anyway. That means we currently don't have any
campaigns... (hint, hint)

As these changes have been rather intrusive I will probably
package one or more prereleases before 0.4.2. (I don't know
how many of you actually follow CVS so if you want a snapshot
just let me know.) CVS should be in a usable state right now,
and the only major change I still expect to happen before
the final release is difficulty levels.

Oh, one more thing: would different AIs help with the tutorials?
I'm thinking of a simple AI that doesn't move but shoots when
you come close, for example. In that case it would make sense
to include parts of the AI framework Gil proposed as well.
