Crimson Fields 0.4.5 released
The release is finally out.
What's new?
* Replaced the Uprising mission which marks the start of the
Yalwa campaign (Seed of Resistance)
* Some changes in the way events are handled. Up to now events
with timer triggers and the like have always been executed in
the pre-turn phase which meant that the active player did not
see what happened but only the results. Event execution is now
delayed until start of turn to give more visual feedback.
Also, events with handicap triggers which are executed on turn
1 are still executed pre-turn and do not show up in replays at
all.
* The "Message" event now has an optional position parameter.
When the event is executed the display is set so that the
configured hex is visible.
* New event "Set Timer". Using this event type you can alter
another event with a "Timer" trigger. This allows for more
flexible timers, countdowns, dynamic turn limits, etc.
* Events can be disabled in CoMET. Disabled events cannot be
triggered. Use the "Manipulate Event" event to enable them.
* The computer player often did not move units out of shops
if there were enemy units on adjacent hexes.
* A few more fixes for CoMET crashes.
* Translation updates (fr, pl).
The Windows binary package will be updated tomorrow.
