libgmp?  Quoting from the README:

	"GNU MP is a library for arbitrary precision arithmetic, operating
	on signed integers, rational numbers, and floating point numbers."

I think it's on ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/gmp/ nowadays.
