Summary: deselecting component doesn't deselect hidden attrib

Initial Comment:
When a component is selected and you deselect it with a ctrl-click or ctrl-drag, the hidden attributes attached to the component remain selected (if they are not being displayed).

This showed up when I wanted to delete everything in an area except for a few components in the middle; I selected the area, deselected the few components, then hit delete which inadvertently deleted the hidden attributes for the components I was keeping.

To reproduce select a component with hidden attributes which aren't shown then ctrl click the component to deselect it; the hidden attributes are still selected (easiest to see by then showing hidden attributes).  This does not happen when hidden attributes are shown.
