Initial Comment:
Why does it take 7 mouse clicks to set the value of a resistor?

Almost every part needs a value set, therefore there should be a way to set the value efficiently,  like say right click>set value.
Another option might be to ask the user for the value when they drop the part into the schematic.

Why does it display "value=100" over the part?
Move the text down so it is not covering the symbol and remove the word value since it is implied and append units.
"value=100" -> "100Ω"
