I can change the priority, but I don't think it will make much
difference.
As I recall, I think Peter B mentioned something about working on the
single attribute / text editor. In the past we did talk about removing
it completely though - so long as the multi-attribute editor can be
taught to be similarly useful.

Bug description:
Currently, the single attribute editor is modal.
Proposal:
Let the single attribute editor behave like the multi attribute editor. That is:
1) non blocking
2) apply changes when the mouse curso leaves the dialog
3) always refer to the currently selected object.
