Summary: Renumbering mixes refdeses
Initial Comment:
Right now the only way to have several instantations (slots) of a part in gschem with power pins only visible on the first instantation is to use two library parts. A device with power pins for U1A and another without power pins for U1B, U1C etc.
Renumbering will mostly break the integrity of this part, for example it may refdes U1A into U7D (it should use U7A) but turn U1C into U3B (should have been U7C). Then the netlist and schematic are both incorrect.
Just wanted to let the community know. I believe this is something that would be worthwhile fixing some day.
Regards,
Joerg
