Summary: Ortho-mode for move operations

Initial Comment:
While moving a selection of entities in the schematic (and thereby most likely stretching nets ("left" XOR "right") OR ("up" XOR "down"), it would be nice to be able to only move "left" XOR "right" XOR "up" XOR "down" in the schematic.

In the above "left" XOR "right" is to be read as "either left or right, but not both", while {"left" XOR "right" XOR "up" XOR "down"} is to be read as "only one of the directions [left, right, up, down]".

This would require a toggle to switch ortho-mode whilst inside a move operation, or just before the operation is intiated.

This would have to be a global toggle:
- before making a selection or,
- after making a selection and before pressing the "m" key or,
- after pressing the "m" key and the indication of "source" or "destination" points.

This ortho-mode could be applied for copy operations as well.

Kind regards,

Bert Timmerman.
