gEDA-bug: [Bug 698543] Maybe multiple instances of same subcircuits?

Is it possible this happens when same schematic is used multiple times at
different levels of hierarchy? Say:

+ toplevel
    + part1
        + samepart
    + part2
        + samepart
    + part3
        + otherpart
            + samepart

But this is just speculation. Anyway without a reproducible testcase it's
unlikely anyone will invest time to hunt it down and fix.

  gschem: hierarchy up/down ERROR

Status in GPL Electronic Design Automation tools:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Sometimes there is a wrong behavior if i have a hierarchic schematic
  and go down to sub-schematic and back.

  It happens that i step down and do something with the schematic e.g. draw nets, add components, go down to symbol-level (up again to sub-schematic level), etc.
  Now i try to reach the toplevel (starting point) schematic - Sometimes it doesn't work.
