gEDA-bug: [Bug 698543] Re: gschem: hierarchy up/down ERROR

I had this happen to me even with a simple hierarchy like this:

+ toplevel
ÂÂÂÂ+ part1
ÂÂÂÂ+ part2
ÂÂÂÂ+ part3

You are right, unreproducible errors are the worst. I just wanted to confirm, that there is something amiss in handling of hierarchy in gschem.

Title:
  gschem: hierarchy up/down ERROR

Status in GPL Electronic Design Automation tools:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Sometimes there is a wrong behavior if i have a hierarchic schematic
and go down to sub-schematic and back.

It happens that i step down and do something with the schematic e.g. draw nets, add components, go down to symbol-level (up again to sub-schematic level), etc.
Now i try to reach the toplevel (starting point) schematic - Sometimes it doesn't work.
