Does anyone have experience with it? I use gcc3, geda is the latest.

Geda has troubel with gettext. I have installed gettext, but it's a
separate library. Geda want's to have some functions accesd from the
standard C lib. I do not know why.

The Make script of Gschem stoped by lots of errors. Parse errors. Some
realy uncool thing happens with gschem.
It would be helpful to know what operating system and compiler you're running.

FYI, I have several beefy UltraSPARC machines here, all running Solaris9, and I'm interested in getting gschem running on one of them. At one point I had made some progress in getting it built with Sun's compiler (which produces FAR superior output than GCC on many RISC processors), but that was a long time ago and I never finished building up a list of the required changes.
