gEDA-user: Length of pins in gschem symbols.

Most of the default syms in the gschem library have long pins -- e.g 300 
units. Is there a technical reason to avoid short pins, or is it just a 
matter of taste? I'd make the pins real short as possible to allow for 
maximum flexibility on the schematics.
