Hmm, looks like the g++ compiler of Debian 3.1 (still running that
fairly 'mature' distro :) can't handle the source code of gnucap. Looks
like the code of gnucap triggers some bug in the really old g++ version
that shipped with Debian 3.1.

g++ dies with
