gEDA-user: PCB project

We just finished our first project using PCB. The schematics were done in
IVEX WinDraft because we had the version two schematics there. Transferring
the netlist and parts was not too bad using a Perl script we cooked up.

This is version three of the digital board in our camera. It is a six layer
board 2.7-inches by 2.7-inches with nothing too fancy on it: an FX-2 USB
2.0/8051 chip from Cypress, a Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA, a (name your vendor)
128/256/512 Mb SDRAM and several switching power supplies.

If you are interested, here is a gerbv view of the front of the board:
http://www.YankeeRobotics.com/images/mb3-fr.png, and here is a view of the
back of the board: http://www.YankeeRobotics.com/images/mb3-bk.png.

We crashed PCB several times and found some strangeness in PCB and gerbv that
we will be tracking down and submitting patches on. Who has the patch
pumpkin?

Regards,
Daniel
